From mental health milkshakes to marathons, birthday celebrations to backyard BBQs, and everything else in between, we’ve seen ‘Team Top Blokes’ fundraisers do some pretty remarkable things to raise funds for boys and young men.
LIFT THE LOAD
Carry the weight so they don’t have to
Poor mental health can be a heavy load to burden, particularly for those who live with it every single day. Lift the Load stops poor mental health in its tracks.
Throughout Mental Health Month in October, you can join the Lift the Load challenge as we carry 10km over 50km. Funds raised go towards giving boys and young men their own mental health toolkit to help them through the messiness of life, helping to reduce rates of suicide and poor mental health.
How it works?
STARTING A FUNDRAISER IS EASY
Register
It only takes a few minutes to get started. Choose a team name. Pick a photo. Share what you’re doing and why. And just like that, you’re ready to start raising money.
Spread the word
Share your campaign. Tell everyone you know. Next door neighbour, your good mate Geoff, Aunty Evie. Your friends on social. The more people you tell, the faster you’ll reach your goal.
Make an impact
Every dollar you raise helps us give more boys and young males a support system and the tools they need to live healthy and safe lives.
Ocean dip anyone?
Take a mid-winter icy plunge
It’s good for your nervous system, it’s good for your soul. Newcastle will see hundreds of people take the plunge in the icy winter ocean baths to support Men’s Health Week on Sunday 16 June. Registration is $35 per person with all donations straight to Top Blokes. Come and join us.

Why Fundraise?
As part of ‘Team Top Blokes’, you’re part of a community championing boys and young men to be the best they can be. Along with increasing awareness and empowering those around you to take action, the dollars you raise will help us reach more young males in schools and communities across Australia. We’re putting positive mental health first for everyone.
